About Access Footage
Access Footage is a growing collection of historical films, remastered from film titles in the public domain collections of the American Government. We have over 650 films scanned to HD and a growing collection of over 150 films now available in 4K.
We specialise in footage in the public domain and provide you with easy access to a broadcast quality master file, bypassing the lengthy lab times involved in going direct to source. All titles can be viewed and downloaded as screeners from this website and purchased directly as a master.
HD and UHD film scans
HD films are available as an instant download upon purchase. 4K films require a 48 hour window to restore from digital storage. However, a 2K version is downloadable instantly for urgent needs. Physical shipping can also be arranged with us directly at cost price.
Unedited footage
The vast majority of the films in the collection are unedited, meaning you are purchasing raw footage as it was captured in the field. It's the original film of that event, in the best condition you will find.
