Part 1, Hitler Youth members hold a torch-light parade on skis. Gar. alpine troops train on a snow-covered mt. Part 2, figure skaters perform in Berlin's Sportspalast. Part 3, shows fighting on the Russ. front. Ger. planes dive bomb and smash advancing Russ. tanks, shells burst, buildings burn, and artillery fires. Includes views of wrecked Russ. tanks and of Gers. in trenches. A Ger. Col. who destroyed 475 Russ. tanks is also shown. Part 4, on the Ger. "Bulge" offensive of Dec. 16, 1944. Shows a V-1 bomb in the air, a rocket barrage, artillery firing, and U.S. POW's and dead. Ger. tanks and infantry are rushed to the front.
