Anschluss GERMAN ENTRY INTO AUSTRIA (UFA NEWSREEL) German Narration This reel begins with ceremonies to honor war dead. Goering goes to monument also. Large wreaths are laid; one is shown, in close-up, to be from Hitler. A close-up of the iron cross on banner. Goering delivers an address. St Stephan's cathedral, Vienna, is seen as well as the cheering and saluting crowds. An animated map shows Austria joined to Germany : "ein Volk, ein Reich, ein Fuehrer."
